Established in 1995, Ningbo Cibei Medical Treatment Appliance Co., Ltd a (hereinafter referred to as Cibei Medical) is a member of the board of directors of the China Medical Device Industry Association, a member of the board of directors of the China Socitey for Biomaterials(CSBM), as well as the vice president of the Zhejinag Medical Device Industry Association. The main business of Cibei Medical focuses on neurosurgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery, especially focusing on the research, development, production and sales of titanium plates for craniomaxillofacial internal fixation, titanium screws, auxiliary devices and emerging technologies in the field of craniomaxillofacial. In the past three years, more than 500,000 seats of Cibei's implants have been used in clinical practice every year, and some of them have been exported to Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africal, South America, North America and other regions.

Since its establishment Cibei Medical has gained recognition and strong support from the government, in 2015, Cibei Medical's internal fixation titnium plates, titnium screws, jaw retractors and other products were awarded as excellent industrail products in Zhejiang Province; in 2016, Cibei Medical was awarded as Zhejiang Invisible Champion Enterprises and Zhejiang Manufacturing Excellence, and in 2017, Cibei Medical was awarded as Zhejiang Innovative Model Small and Medium-sized Enterprises; in 2018, the Cibei Medical was named a high-tech enterprise and Ningbo single champion cultivation enterprise; in 2022, Cibei Medical was approved as Zhejiang Cibei Digital High-tech Enterprise R&D Center; in 2023, Cibei Medical was named Ningbo Specialized New SMEs and participated in the national key R&D Project"Establishment of a new system of clinical diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint diseases"; in 2024, it is proposed to establish postdoctoral research station and Academician Expert Workstation to deepen the cooperation between industry and academical research, and to accelerate the commercialization of R&D results from resarch institutions.
